‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ Super Bowl Spot: The Aliens Are Back With A Vengeance

Here’s the Independence Day Resurgence Super Bowl spot from Fox:
At the very least, this looks just as fun as the first movie. While the absence of Will Smith is a bit disappointing, the movie now has the opportunity to focus on the new cast members to allow for a true ensemble movie. That’s exactly how the first movie was since Smith wasn’t a bonafide superstar on the big screen yet, and it should serve the sequel well. But I’m willing to bet that not all of the characters who survived the first movie will make it through the second invasion.
Come back tomorrow for a round of exclusive interviews with almost all of the main cast members from Independence Day: Resurgence, as well as director Roland Emmerich, straight from the set of the sequel. We’ll also have plenty more from the set of the movie, including a tease of just how massive the invasion will be this time.
