Matthew Vaughn is directing the film based on a Mark Millar comic, and we all remember how much fun we had the last time that happened. Kingsman: The Secret Service seems to be cut from the same crazy, bloody, “fuck”-filled cloth. Watch the Kingsman The Secret Service red band trailer after the jump. IGN premiered the Kingsman The Secret Service red band trailer.
The new trailer reveals a whole bunch of new material, including way more footage of Eggsy (Egerton) after his transformation into a Kingsman. The old-man glasses suit his face better than I would have guessed. Actually, they make him a dead ringer for a young Colin Firth.
As with Kick-Ass, Kingsman: The Secret Service may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Early word is it’s “hyper-violent,” “ridiculously entertaining,” and “utterly demented, mostly in a good way.” But if you fell for Kick-Ass, you’ll likely love Kingsman: The Secret Service too. At any rate, it looks much better than that Kick-Ass sequel that disappointed everyone last year.
Kingsman: The Secret Service is out February 13, 2015. Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Caine, Mark Strong, Jack Davenport, Sofia Boutella, and Sophie Cookson also star.
