Cool Stuff: That’s No Moon, It’s A Levitating Death Star Bluetooth Speaker

Here’s the Death Star Bluetooth speaker in action (via Fancy):

When the 1,000 mAh battery is fully charged, the speaker will give you about 6-8 hours of playback before it’s in position to destroy Yavin IV. It also glows in the dark when the lights are off to give it a little more style.

However, the bad news is that this Death Star Bluetooth speaker will cost you $220. That seems a little exorbitant for a Bluetooth speaker, but I guess it depends on how valuable your portable music capabilities are combined with your affinity for showing your love of Star Wars.

This is too salty for my tastes, but I can’t help but think about the repercussions of having the Death Star spin that fast. I’m not a physics expert though, so perhaps someone with a more scientific mind can determine just how the speed of the Death Star’s rotation would impact the troops inside.
