Legendary Musician Prince Has Died At 57

The news of Prince dead was first reported by TMZ, and The Associated Press has since confirmed by way of the musician’s publicist that the singer has indeed passed away. A cause of death has not yet been revealed, but Carver County Police department in Chanhassen, Minnesota are currently investigating the grounds of his studio where he was found dead.
Prince’s death comes after his personal jet was forced to make an unscheduled landing in Illinois due to some health issues that arose after a concert in Atlanta. A representative for the singer said he was dealing with the flu that was only exacerbated after performing in Georgia.
In addition to his music, Prince also directed and starred in his own movies Under the Cherry Moon and Graffiti Bridge, for which he composed new tunes as well. They weren’t very well-received, but they showed that he was passionate about his art and had a style all his own. Other directorial work includes his own concert documentary Sign ‘o’ the Times.
Prince Rogers Nelson was a wild musician, unlike any before him and any that will follow in his footsteps. For one album, he even played 27 different instruments, and that was when he was just 20 years old. Prince was truly an icon and genius, and he will not be forgotten anytime soon.
