First Look: Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book By Peter Sciretta/Dec. 12, 2014 2:37 pm EST Disney has released the first look at concept art for Jon Favreau’s new “live-action” version of The Jungle Book. I use quotation marks around live action because the film will seamlessly blend live-action with photorealistic CGI animals and environments, “using up-to-the-minute technology and storytelling techniques to immerse audiences in an enchanting and lush world.” So basically imagine how James Cameron shot Avatar with some live-action elements but mostly a computer created world populated with photo realistic animals of Life of Pi or Dawn of the Planet of the Apes....

First Official ‘Warcraft’ Images Reveal Orgrim Doomhammer By Germain Lussier/May 18, 2015 9:00 am EST It feels like Duncan Jones’ Warcraft has been in production since before the Horde or Alliance came into existance. The director finished filming about a year ago and ever since, has been very carefully showing hints and teases at big events like Comic-Con and BlizzCon. Most recently, the film’s release date was pushed back from Spring to Summer 2016 (the above logo is wrong), which disappointed fans but mostly meant the studio is confident in the film....

X-Men: Apocalypse director Bryan Singer has revealed that the X-Men spinoff is still in the works, with Simon Kinberg already hard at work on the script. And what’s more, that it may feature the fan-favorite comic book character X-23, essentially a female clone of Wolverine. Fandango got the X-Force update from Singer....
