Sony Sets James Wan As ‘Robotech’ Director [UPDATED] By Russ Fischer/June 3, 2015 2:06 pm EST James Wan has been an in-demand director for the past couple years, but the billion-dollar success of Furious 7 pushed him into a new bracket as far as studios are concerned. We know that Warner Bros. wants to keep him around, and that he’s been in talks to make Aquaman. But if current reports are correct WB doesn’t quite know what it is doing with Aquaman yet, which may be part of what leads to this new deal....

The new Star Wars Chewbacca comic book series will be written by Gerry Duggan (Deadpool) and artist Phil Noto (Jonah Hex, X-23, Uncanny X-Force, Black Widow). The storyline will be set directly after Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and will finds Chewie on a strange planet, teaming up with new allies and maybe bumping into some old acquaintances (because what would a Star Wars comic be without easter eggs that make the expansive huge universe seem smaller and smaller)....
